The El Paso Community College (EPCC) Senior Adult Program, Que Bonita Familia and other contributors present the 17th Annual Senior Love Conference. “Live, Love and Care for Yourself.” The event will take place in the Auditorium and Boardroom of EPCC Administrative Services Center, 9050 Viscount Blvd. from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 18, 2012.

The agenda for this event includes Dr. Armando Gonzalez-Stuart, Ph.D., Doctor of Science in Alternative Medicines and Professor Paul Hotchkin, UTEP Biologist, will speak about Aging and Oxidative Stress: What we can do to slow it down. Dr. Guillermina Nuñez, Assistant Professor of Cultural Anthropology at UTEP, will be talking about Gather with A Great Tree: The value of networks in creating a life worth living.

Among the awards will include the Super Senior Award and the Dance Group of the Year. Some of the entertainment will include the Sacramento Senior Folklorico, Boleros de Amor; El Paso Senior Temptations and the Que Padre Dancers.

The EPCC senior adult program informs senior citizens about lifelong learning activities for self-worth and self-discovery. It also recognizes that life’s experiences, our history and attitude are important elements of achievement, self-satisfaction, a life worth living and happiness.
