UTEP Music Department’s Pandemonium Steel Band and Afro-Cuban Percussion Ensemble concert will consists of Calypso, Panorama, and contemporary selections with special guest artist Joe Galvin, one of the premier pan players in the U.S. Galvin, a specialist in Afro-Cuban music, will also perform folkloric rumba, bembe, and other styles with members of the UTEP Percussion Ensemble.
