Horseback Riding
Chihenne Ranch
Chihenne (pronounced chi-hay-nee) Ranch is located in the beautiful foothills of the Black Range near the Gila National Forest. Elevations on the ranch range from 6500 feet at the ranch house to over 8500 feet at the tops of the mountains.
Visitors can enjoy horseback riding, Indian site visits, excellent hiking, gold and silver mine visits, cattle roundups, cattle branding, 4-wheel off road trips, unsurpassed panoramic scenery, visits to ghost towns and much more.
Fifers Arena
Good horses are on hand at Fifer's Arena. Enjoy a ride along the Wilderness Park Museum Trail. The facility provides horse stall rental, riding lessons, roping lessons, pratice ropings, leadership conferences, parties and much more!

Tres Milagros Stables
Come out and experience a leisure horseback ride. We will take you on a one hour ride through open pastures while you enjoy the quietness of the Upper Valley with the scenic view of the Franklin Mountains, or take a two hour ride along the Rio Grande River. Be sure to pack your sunscreen!
