Join the Camerata Del Sol Chamber Players for a beautiful tribute to African-American composers!
Featuring:
“Through the Refining Fire” by UTEP professor Dr. Dominic Dousa: A setting of poetry by three African-American poets, scored for string string quartet, double bass, and tenor.
And string quartet arrangements of some of the greatest hits by Black American musicians, including works by Etta James, W.C. Handy, Nina Simone, and Louis Armstrong.
