Course Description Get ready to blast off with us in this hands-on investigative class all about space science! Topics will include gravity, rocketry, astronauts, comets, meteorites, magnetic storms, and much more astronomy fun. As we shoot some homemade rockets, stunt planes, Aero Copters, and get to test the flying Spaceman model in class we’ll learn more about the forces involved in flight, the gyroscopic forces on motion, air pressure and lift.
Students must bring their own snacks, drinks and lunch. Lunch will be from 12-1pm and students will stay with their instructor all day, lunch included.
