EARLY PACKET PICK UP April 26-28 12 p.m. - 6 p.m. @ HSA-El Paso Campus 9405 Betel RACE DAY PACKET PICK UP AT THE START LINE FROM 7AM TO 7:45AM
AWARDS AND PRIZES Technical T-Shirts to first 200 Runners First 200 finishers receive a Custom Finisher Medal Raffle Prizes at the end of the race. Refreshments available for all runners at the end of the race.
TROPHIES TO: The Largest Group & the First place Overall Male & Female in the 5K 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Winners for each category Male and Female: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & up
We want to invite you to the Second Annual Earth Day Tiger Dash! A 5k centered around Earth Day and Environmentalism. We want to take this opportunity to raise awareness of the environmental practices we are incorporating here at Harmony Science Academy of El Paso and teach individuals how to incorporate these healthier, environmentally conscious alternatives into their daily lives. During the event, we will provide workshops for the community to learn how to grow and maintain their produce, such as tomatoes, peppers, and other vegetables, from the comfort of their own homes. We will also educate on composting and other permaculture practices, which will reduce our waste production, energy intake, and nitrogen runoff into our water supply.
Running Etiquette Please be aware of people who may be trying to pass you on the route. If you are coming up on somebody and you want to pass, please alert them to your presence and tell them which side you will pass them on. If you are running with music, please keep the volume low enough so you can hear runners coming up from behind you. Do not leave any trash or debris anyway on the event route or areas.
IF YOU DO NOT CHECK-IN RACE DAY AT THE START LINE - YOU WILL NOT BE IN THE RESULTS.
